Girls Club of East Scarborough has been serving our community since 1956. Each year the Club provides service to over5,000 children and youth in over 19 locations throughout the East Scarborough community. These programs include licenced childcare, early years programs, before & afterschool programs, camps, sports/recreation & leadership development . At the Boys & Girls Club of East Scarborough, we strive to meet the changing needs of our community and continue to make this place ‘ A good place to be’.
In August 2011, we were proud to unveil a newly renovated and expanded facility at our at 100 Galloway Road location. Based on consultation and feedback from the community the new space features windows throughout to add light and transparacy, a partial second floor to accommodate our growing needs, we also included a dance studio, art studio, recording studio, and a brand new gym with a weight room. The facility has been brightened up by utilizing our Boys & Girls Club branding colours through out, making the rooms childre/youth and family friendly.

As a leading provider of quality after school and out-of-school programs to children and youth, as a movement, we support the healthy physical, educational and social development of more than 200,000 young people and their families in Canada each year. We are one of the largest youth-serving agencies in Canada. Our association of over 100 Clubs located in 700 community service locations across Canada are in neighbourhoods where they are most needed including, large city centres, remote rural communities and First Nations Reserves. Nearly three million young Canadians have played, learned and developed essential life skills through our safe, caring Club environments and enriching programs.
